I love my blackberry very much. I would definitely upgrade to bb10. It's fantastic phone and it has all the capabilities that I am interested in. It's the only keyboard that I can use.

no unlimited data plan in canada means no smartphone for me, if enough people stick together on this one, we will once again have unlimited data in canada.

I would really like the Z10 with a touchscreen. If I could get it for Free that would be the best.

"ME" I used to think that way you do regarding unlimited plans, but really if you shop around you can find a good data deal on a good contract, PLUS, I find that most of the time I am using WiFi anyway, so unlimited is not really necessary.
As for the BB10, I currently have an iPhone after converting from a Blackberry and will I go back? I am on the fence but if the phone is good, I will definitely go back.

I have loved my BB Bold,so I can keep using it until both of the new phones are in the market place.The physical keyboard has always been my prreference.But I'd like to check out both new models before I upgrade.I loved what I saw in the demo.

Why is it that the "CANDIAN" company is having the phone released tomorrow in the UK while CANADA has to wait till the 5th of next month? does not sound very CANADIAN to me. I would have loved to see a pay as you go version, as I have banned ALL contract phones from my household having been burned by past carriers. I like my BB phone, the new one would have been one I would buy outright like the others I have had, so if they had brought it out and made it available to EVERYONE! I would buy it. But not if I have to have a contract that I am tied to for 3 years. Phone looks nice, it's the contract accessory I did not want.

I own a Mac laptop, Ipad and an older Iphone and bought a BB Bold last year. When it is time to upgrade I will continue to purchase the Blackberry. The keyboard itself is a huge plus and I was glad to see that they brought out a phone with it, way to go Blackberry. If the Americans could get their heads out of the sand in hating this product for whatever reason I think they would see that it is an amazing product and meets all the requirements and more over other phones! In the end its about personal choice.

RIM Products are really good (Speaking of the Blackberry Playbook tablet), their hardware is really really good, what they need to fix is their software though.
If they made it more user friendly and not so crippled (Lack of codecs, not compatible with mainstream apps, etc), it'll be to compete with the most popular gadgets outhere.

@Ken seabloom
You don't have to have a plan....buy the phone outright if you want. Where do you people get your information?!

I had the Torch 9860. The glass sustained a very small break. This made the phone unusable. The other smartphones I've seen sustain much bigger cracks and smashes in some cases. I doubt this innovation exists for the new BB 10 products. Furthermore, the glass is extremely expensive to replace as well. Sorry BB. I'm done with your products until you can show some genuine innovation.

I’ve a blackberry smartphone and so I bought Blackberry Playbook. Had problems with charging BB Playbook. Horrible customer service from BB. Their call center cannot see what repair was done. I’m sorry I don’t want your BB 10 no matter how great it is because your customer service sucks. If you want to survive, pay attention to customer happiness more than the technology.

@me - I don't ever remember a Canadian Company having an Unlimited Data Plan in the past !
But, You are Correct. If RIM would just make the leap... and be the 1st. for UNLIMITED DATA PLAN
they would have 10's of thousands of customers signing up. If they made their UNLIMITED DATA PLAN - NORTH AMERICA WIDE - They would have millions of new customers.
