What profession relies the most on coffee each day?
There’s a reason that, in Canada, there are two kinds of morning rush hour.
For those disinclined to click that second link, that’s a shot of a Tim Hortons drive-thru, backed up to no tomorrow. It’s also a sign that few Canadian workers can start their day without a cup of coffee.
Indeed, while you might need caffeine before you can do your job, which profession, exactly, drinks the most each day?
Fittingly, Dunkin’ Donuts paired with CareerBuilder in a recent poll to find just what workers rely the most on coffee.
Surveying some 4,700 respondents from different lines of work, 60 per cent said they drink at least two cups of coffee daily, while nearly half (46 per cent) admitted their productivity would suffer without their caffeine fix.
Without further ado, here are the ten professions that admitted to the heaviest daily coffee consumption:
10) Finance professional
9) Social worker
7) Food preparer
5) Healthcare administrator
3) Education administrator
2) Marketing/PR professional
1) Scientist/lab technician
