Not all bad: Chippendales offers Prince Harry a job
You know, this whole Prince Harry story has been kicking around for a couple days now, and no one quite feels great about it.
Certainly, the Royal Family mustn’t, and even the British papers, despite decrying the publishing of Harry’s infamous photos “demonstrably in the public interest,” say the pics shouldn’t have been printed, regardless.
But perhaps a silver lining can be found amid all that red hair.
If Harry’s latest misstep angers non-Monarchists that his family still receives dough from the U.K.’s civil list, maybe the prince better take the Chippendales job he’s been offered in Las Vegas.
Oh, sorry, you didn’t hear? Yes, Prince Harry, in the wake of his pseudo-nude photo scandal, hasn’t just had his detractors.
The 27-year-old has caught the eye of the Chippendales at Vegas’ Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, who have seized an opportunity for some good PR.
Chippendales Rio has offered Harry a job hosting a show, reasoning, “We figured that since he seems to enjoy taking his clothes off in Las Vegas, why not do it on stage at the number one male revue in the world?”
Cheeky presumption, sure, and on the surface nothing more than a headline grab, like something Ashley Madison, the top name in adultery, would do by offering to sponsor a zoo or submitting a Super Bowl ad it knows would never reach air.
But give Chippendales credit, at least. While they won’t get Harry to showcase his own Big Ben on stage, they’ve nabbed names of note in the past, including Joey Lawrence, a one-time “Bachelor” and “Jersey Shore” star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro to host its show before.
